“The concept is inspired by this nerdy TV show that I used to watch,” said Foust. “We dreamt up an

action sequence that basically gave me the chance to drive as many fun machines as possible in

one video.”

In a nod to the 80s science-fiction television show Quantum Leap, the video follows Foust as he

swaps between his favorite vehicles in unexpected environments. Linked by a special yellow

steering wheel, Foust stunts his 600 horsepower Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Beetle over a

makeshift gap jump, takes a Jamaican excursion in a Polaris RZR UTV, gets sideways on gravel in

his 900 horsepower drift Passat, drives a Porsche 912E with a personal family connection, and

pilots a boat.

Donut Media led the production, capturing footage some 30-seconds at a time over six months of

2016. It is the first time that Foust has worked with Donut Media, a company that is rapidly building a

reputation as a leader in creating shareable automotive content.

“We know there are a lot of people doing cool stuff out there and we’re trying to do a new take and a

fresh look,” said Jacob Agajanian, vice president of partnerships at Donut Media. “Our shoots are

fast and fun and a little sketchy, and we had a fantastic experience working with Tanner on this
