Tanner Foust is a winning competitor in rally, drift, ice racing and time attack with a proven track record of multiple podium placements and national championships. Foust has seen huge success in Drift and Rally in the last few seasons. In addition to winning two Formula Drift Pro Drift Championship titles, he has also earned three medals at the high-profile X Games Rally Car Racing competition.
Foust has twice represented Team USA in the annual Race of Champions, doing battle with the world’s fastest drivers and riders from Formula One, World Rally Championship, Superbike and Touring Car racing. He teamed with motocross and rally pro Travis Pastrana in 2009, and Nascar star Carl Edwards in 2008.
A versatile and multi-talented driver, he is known for his supreme car control with winning experience on and off road. His race experience includes multiple seasons of open wheel competition, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb (2002 – 2004), five Ice Racing championships, the 2005 PGT Rally Championship and the SCORE Baja 1000 in 2006 and 2007. He also holds class lap records at numerous US road courses in Time Attack.
Even if you haven’t seen Foust on the track you’ve likely witnessed his precision car control on TV or the big screen. He was a lead stunt driver in the Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Bourne Ultimatum and Dukes of Hazzard movies, and also handles stunt driving in numerous popular TV shows and commercials. Foust is currently an on-air host for Supercars Exposed and was also picked as co-presenter for the US version of the seminal BBC auto show, Top Gear.
For 2010 Tanner Foust will continue to compete with title sponsorship from and as a Rockstar Energy Drink athlete in Formula Drift in a Papadakis Racing built Scion tC. He is competing in X Games Rally and the US Rallycross events this year in a Rockstar Energy etnies Ford Fiesta, and is also running select events in the European Rallycross Championship in 2010 — the first American to ever compete in the series.
